Youth will be served.
That adage certainly applies to contemporary auto racing where more and more winners are relying on the exhuberance of youth to shine on the speedways, rather than the wisdom of experience.
This past Saturday, sixteen year old Ryan Krachun shocked the racing world when he won the Modified feature at New Egypt Speedway.
New Egypt is a notoriously difficult track to win on in any division, let alone in the top class.
What made this win even more noteworthy is that Ryan is now the youngest driver ever to win a Modified race in the State Of New Jersey.
Unexpected? Yes, but this kid’s got talent.
A talent for driving and a talent for making news!
