Few things are more captivating in the sport of auto racing than witnessing a young driver ascend through the ranks to greatness.
So it was this past weekend when Brandon Grosso, whose progression from from Crate Sportsman to Modified has been swift, won the high profile All Star Cup Modified feature at New Egypt Speedway this past Saturday.
That came on the heels of a near win Thursday at Orange County Fair Speedway where he was leading late only to suffer a flat tire.
At the same time, Grosso is also working his way into contention in Asphalt Late Model competition.
Grosso is showing on the track what has been said of him often in the last couple of years: he’s a can’t miss prospect. At New Egypt Saturday, Grosso proved it, conclusively.
