Lentini Auto Salvage Named Title Sponsor Of Len Sammons Motorsports Productions Slingshot Indoor Races In Trenton And Atlantic City.
TRENTON, NJ – Slingshot drivers competing in this year’s Battle of Trenton Indoor Race and the Atlantic City Gamblers Classic received a tremendous boost in mid-November when Lentini Auto Salvage of Ringoes, N.J., was named as Title Sponsor of the division’s events.
Starting with the Slingshot event to be held on Saturday night December 20 during the Second Annual Battle of Trenton Indoor Race inside the Sun National Bank Center and then during the NAPA Auto Parts Atlantic City Indoor Race set for January 30 and 31 inside Boardwalk Hall, all Slingshots events will carry the Lentini Auto Salvage banner.
“We are pleased to be involved with Len Sammons Motorsports Productions at this event,” said Darryl Carman, second generation operator of Lentini Auto Salvage. “The big crowds and the direct involvement we have in Slingshot racing as competitors makes this a perfect fit to promote our business and have some fun at the same time.” Carman’s sons and nephew all have prior Slingshot Indoor Boardwalk Hall driving experience and are among the favorites to contend for victory both Friday and Saturday nights.
New Jersey’s first fully computerized auto salvage yard for over six decades, Lentini Auto Salvage takes pride in building a progressive and organized operation.
Lentini Auto Salvage tracks a huge on-hand parts inventory and with a Nationwide Parts Locating Service assures “barely used” parts are high in quality and at a great price.
Carman himself is a dirt track Modified and Sportsman driver who won multiple track championships at both Flemington and East Windsor Speedways in New Jersey.
Lentini Auto Salvage is deciated to the promise of making sure the customer receives the right part every time and that their ‘barely used’ parts are high in quality.
Atlantic City’s historic Boardwalk Hall will be the site of the annual Gamblers Classic, a three division program of racing featuring TQ Midgets, Lentini Auto Salvage Slingshots and Champ Karts.
Slingshot Entries for the Atlantic City race have been pouring into the Len Sammons Productions office at a record pace. Due to parking limitations in the building, the entry blank called for only 42 entries, and with over 50 entries received to date, entries for the division are currently on hold. The event in Trenton will feature only 24 competitors, again due to parking limitations with only a handful of spots left.
Fans who attended the first Sun Bank Center racing weekend, named “The Battle of Trenton”, in February of this year, will want to make their advance order race tickets early to obtain the best seats available.
