This year Otto Sitterly won the race for the fourth time in the past six runnings. On a weekend when new speed reords were set, Sitterly held back, moving into contention as one by one his seeminglly faster competitors stumbled.
It was a brilliant drive, coming in a year when Sitterly’s weekly domination was not what it has been over the past few years.
