Newsmaker of the Week // Ryan Smith

‘Ryan’s World’.
That’s what a trio of like named Newsmakers turned the racing fraternity into this past weekend with fourhigh profile wins in three states.
The first ‘Ryan’ is Pennsylvanian Smith, who shocked the 410 Sprint community with a win Saturday at Attica (OH) Raceway in the first points race for Tony Stewart’s All Star Sprint Series.
For Smith, it was an amazing drive, coming in his first start since commiting to ‘go on the road’ this year.
The second ‘Ryan’ scored two big wins, one at his home New Egypt (NJ) Speedway in a Small Block and the next afternoon at Bridgeport (NJ) Speedway in a Big Block.
Back-to-back wins are almost impossible to register in the Garden State because both dirt tracks usually race against one another.
No less newsworthy was the winning drive in South Boston (VA)  Speedway’s NASCAR Southern Mod Tour by Ryan Preece.
