Newsmaker of the Week // Andy Bachetti

The pride of Sheffield, Massachusetts, Andy Bachetti has been among the most competitiive Big Blcok and Small Block Modified drivers on the region’s dirt tracks since he started racing.  He is a threat wherever he races and whenever he is in the field.

 This past weekend, he authored an unusual ‘double’ Bachetti got started by winning on the three eighths mile I-88 Speedway in Afton, N.Y., where Small Block power works best. Then the next night Bachetti powered his Big Block to a win on the high speed half mile at Lebanon Valley.

 It is an unusual double, one that demonstrates range of talent and superior preparation.
