To say that Danny Creeden’s star is on the rise in Dirt Modified racing is to say it right.
The sometimes tempestuous wheelman allowed his talent to do the talking last week. First, he won the Thursday New Egypt (NJ) Speedway Dirty Jersey Modified race, worth over $10,000. The victory perpetuated a trend of success for Creeden with Brett Deyo’s Short Track Super Series events, but it was his first win at New Egypt.
But Creeden wasn’t done. backing it up with his fourth feature win in five races so far this year at Five Mile Point (NY) Speedway, just two days later.
Two wins at two tracks is news. When of them is in a rich event against a talent laden field, that’s big news. And when the other win is against a group of proud home track veterans, that’s a Newsmaker !
