The top performer and the center stage are both equally illuminated in the spotlight’s  glare after Stewart Friesen blitzed the competition yet again at Super DIRT Week at the New York State Fairgrounds.

Friesen reigned supreme for the fourth time in the last six Syracuse Modified 200s, an incredible success ratio.

Though he basked in the afterglow of success, the Fairgrounds itself will be gone shortly, destined for the wrecking ball after more than a century of hosting spectacles.

One one side, Friesen’s joy. On the other sad fans, who when it was all over walked around the track, most for the first time, all for the last.

Together, Stewart Friesen and the Moody Mile were magic together. ‘Stewy’ races on, the track is done. Newsmakers together, for one last time.
