Newsmaker of the Week // Snow!

AREA AUTO RACING NEWS NEWSMAKER OF THE WEEK FOR TUESDAY, JANUARY 26, 2016

 “Oh. the weather outside was frightful, but the Show was so delightful. Though we all had some place to go, we had snow. we had snow we had snow.”

 That little ditty, if improvised a bit, summarizes the 2016 PPB Motorsports Race Car & Trade Show Presented By Insinger Sunoco experience.

 Yes, weather was a factor. But the auto racing community was resilient. The list is long of people who helped others dig out of snowbanks, who found room to squeeze in one more passenger to and from the Expo Center.

 No one planned for it, no one could.  But exhibitors, Show staff, the Expo center folks all did their best to make the most of it.

Mother Nature tried hard but the spirit of the racing community prevailed, as it always.

 The snow was the Newsmaker.  But the event, and its people ultimately carried the day.
