OFF TO A ROUGH START this past Sunday afternoon at Pennsylvania’s Lincoln Speedway is Brad Franks! During a qualifying heat race for the 410 Sprint Cars, he “pulled a wheelie” off turn four. Before he could recover, the No. 12 “dug in” and went for a wild ride that sent Franks high in the air, and then over the frontstretch guardrail. At the conclusion of the crash, the car landed upright between the rail and the debris catch fence in full view of the spectators. Brad was unhurt, but his Sprint Car took a beating and he was done for the day. (Photo Series by Brian Bouder)
