Known affectionately’The Flying Farmer”, veteran Big Block Dirt Modified driver Wade Hendrickson has been around racing long enough to know that victories are to savored.
That’s because no matter who you are, you never know when the next one is coming.
Hendrickson has always been able to count on Bridgeport (NJ) Speedway as his ‘bread and buter track’ but even there in recent years, wins have been few and far between.
Last Sunday. the Flying Farmer moved dirt better than any of ‘em, bringing a smile to the face of his long suffering car owner, Craig Pondish glee in the hearts of his many fans.
It’s one of the great moments in any sport: the old master shows his skills anew. That’s what Wade Hendrickskon did last Sunday evening and in the process, became a Newsmaker.
