Greg Hodnett just keeps getting the job done. The Central PA 410 Sprint Car favorite, while a threat every time he takes a green flag, seems to excel when the stakes are highest.
And that’s exactly what Hodnett did this past weekend. He warmed up with a mid-week second place finish with the World Of Outlaws at New Egypt Speedway.
Then, at Port Royal’s three-day Bob Weikert Memorial Hodnett won the first two of three scheduled races. That was worth fifteen thousand dollars.
The only thing that stopped Hodnett from a possible sweep was a Monday rainout.
Hodnett’s won plenty of races and will win lots more. But over this Memorial Day Weekend, his dominance at Port Royal was dramatic – and most newsworthy.
