For eastern 410 Sprint fans who love their Posse, nothing is bigger than the Williams Grove National Open.
Though this year’s version was ravaged by weather on its original date, the fans packed the legendary Mechanicsburg oval to see if their hometown heroes could whip the Outlaws.
And boy, did they ever!
Danny Dietrich’s inspired late race drive by Joey Saldana ignited the fans, put Dietrich’s name into the Grove’s pantheon of heroes and enriched his team by $25,000.
