NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Stewart Friesen’s plunge into full time upper echelon racing hasn’t slaked his enthusiasm for Dirt Track Modified racing one iota – nor dampened his penchant for winning.
Friesen won Saturday night’s Doug Hoffman Memorial race at Bridgeport Speedway for Big Block Modifieds. It was a big win, his first of the 2017 season, and worth $4,400 in prize money.
This week, the NCWTS runs at Martinsville (VA) Speedway and Friesen will be there.
It’s a crazy schedule to be sure, one that’s incredibly demanding. The jostling between Dirt Mods and NASCAR Trucks is newsmaking in and of itself – and winning this year, is thus a Newsmaking event!
