Mark Smith came, saw, and conquered Outlaw (NY) Speedway last Friday night, taking a talent-laden ESS 360 Sprint Car field to school.
It was just the latest in a remarkable racing season for the Sunbury, Pa., competitor who sets his own schedule on a week by week basis.
On this night, Smith led from start to finish, scoring his seventh feature win of the season. The ESS win is part of a total that also includes 360 Sprint successes with URC, ASCS and USCS, and a big 410 win at Selinsgrove.
Smith is one of those rare racers who can run up front wherever he chooses to compete.
Past wins this season have come in Florida, Tennessee and Pennsylvania
Last week, it was in New York with ESS. This coming week, it could be anywhere. Wherever it is, Mark Smith will be at or near the head of the pack, racing hard, making fans and making News!
