Ryan Flores said he missed the annual running of the Indoor Auto Racing Series dearly when races were cancelled in 2021 due to the pandemic. The former Jersey guy, who has been living in North Carolina for 16 years now, working on Roger Penske’s NASCAR teams, considers competing in the Series to be among the most enjoyable and important things he does.
Flores was ready this past weekend when the green flag dropped inside the PPL Center in downtown Allentown, PA, and when the checkered flag fell, Flores was under it first – winning in the building for the fifth time in ten races. Flores’ winning effort was also a triumph for the Indoor Auto Racing Series itself and for the sport in general.
For making a crowd cheer loudly once again, Ryan Flores is a Newsmaker!
