Anthony Sesely drove to victory Saturday night in the PPL Center Indoor Auto Racing Series TQ A Main, taking charge of a dramatic event that featured wheel to wheel action throughout.
Sesely, who has been known for embracing a ‘clean-sheet-of-paper’ approach to race car design, teamed up with upstate New Yorkers Jeff Ulrich and Ricky Kluth a year ago to build a radically designed car.
The team returned intact last weekend to Allentown for the Series season opener and dominated. Sesely was able to use every inch of the track when others could not. He moved in on, faced down, and prevailed over Tyler Thompson, who like Sesely, had been fast all weekend. In the end, Sesely won out in a wheel-to-wheel battle with Ryan Flores.
Ever confident, Sesely tipped after the race that he knew he had the car to beat. And win he did, in a thriller. For starting out the 2023 northeastern season in such style, Anthony Sesely has made News!
