It may very well be the toughest ‘double’ in all of auto racing – winning back-to-back 410 Sprint races at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night and at Lincoln Speedway or Port Royal on Saturday night. Though many can, and do win at both tracks over the course of a single season, very few do it in succession.

That’s why when Freddie Rahmer repeated his win at the Grove Friday (worth $5,500) the next next night at Lincoln in the Steve Smith Memorial (worth $10,119), it became something special, something rare in the sport.

Toss in a little controversy with the wet, premature finish of the Lincoln race and Freddie Rahmer was, for several reasons, a Newsmaker!
