Newsmaker of the Week // Brad Sweet

For the fifth consecutive year, Brad Sweet is the World Of Outlaws 410 Sprint Car driving champion.

This title drive was a particularly rugged one with David Gravel a constant threat, taking over the points lead several times during the year. Sweet made an emphatic statement at The Charlotte World Finals when he won the final race Saturday, the first time he’d won the finale in any of his title drives.

With speculation swirling around Sweet’s and Kyle Larson’s High Limit Sprint Series and how it may affect World Of Outlaws relations with its champion, Sweet’s victory may prove to have been a walk off home run.

Brad Sweet thus ends the 2023 racing season as a World Of Outlaws Newsmaker.
