Andy Jankowiak puts every ounce of his energy developing and refining his TQ Midget for the Indoor Auto Racing Series winter races. Among those events, the Gambler’s Classic in Atlantic City, NJ is the race he covets above all the rest. This past Saturday, Andy J won the Gambler’s Classic for the fourth time in his career and in a most unusual fashion.
Destined for a third place finish, he watched as leader Ryan Flores was tapped from behind by challenger Tanner VanDoren, spinning with the checkered flag about to be waved. Flores went to the rear for spinning, VanDoren to the rear for, in the judgement of race officials, causing the spin. Andy J then ran out a green-white-checkered two lap sprint to the finish to score the win.
After that, it was party time!
For winning the Gambler’s Classic yet again, Andy Jankowiak has, once again, made News!
