On a beautiful Sunday afternoon at Lincoln Speedway, Anthony Macri raced to a hard fought 410 Sprint victory. This wasn’t just another win for the Dillsburg, PA ace, rather his first since PA Speedweek, 2023. It was just days after that series concluded that Macri and his family-owned team split.
It’s hard to contemplate the range of familial emotion that swept through the Macri Motorsports team when the checkered flag fell first over the No. 39M; this was the first win for the team since it was reunited. The winning ride was made that much more memorable because Macri lost the lead once, and was, at another point, struggling in lapped traffic.
As a frequent winner over the past several years, Anthony Macri was almost expected to win. It wasn’t News.
