The long time Supermodified team of driver Otto Sitterly and car owner John Nicotra have known great success in their many years together. Sitterly is the Master Of Supermodifieds at Oswego Speedway, Nicotra has become a promoter with the ISMA/MSS Series, and together the pair keep on winning.
September has been good to Sitterly and Nicotra, culminating in a sweep of twin features at Evans Mills Raceway last weekend that led to the ISMA/MSS title. What’s more, Jon McKennedy won the recent Star Classic in another Nicotra-owned car.
Sitterly was battle-tested this summer when he was burned by hot engine oil after his Supermod blew up at Oswego; he raced the next night. Months later, his burns have not fully healed.
For doing whatever it takes to race and win, Otto Sitterly, last weekend as so often before, is a Newsmaker!
