Newsmaker of the Week // Kyle Larson

Kyle Larson raced to victory this past Saturday to win the Chili Bowl in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He started from the pole and survived a pair of wild moments, one which pitched his car airborne with all four wheels off the track.

Undeterred, Larson brushed it off, stabbed the throttle and continued on. The win was Larson’s third career Chili Bowl victory, who now turns attention back to his ‘day job’ in the NASCAR Cup Series.

Larson wins so often that he has to be spectacular in victory at this point in his career to draw headlines. So he was at Chili Bowl, 2025 – a Newsmaker!
