Newsmaker of the Week // Paulie Hartwig, III

Fourteen year old Paulie Hartwig, III’s star has been on the rise for some time now, with wins on dirt and asphalt, victories indoors and outdoors, dominant drives to local wins and regional scores.

By far his biggest of all came last weekend at NC’s Hickory  Motor Speedway when Hartwig executed a perfect late race bump-and-run pass in the SMART Modified Tour race to take down the checkered. The still young driver has gradually replaced bravado with finesse while successfully maintaining his winning ways.

He is a “future star” no more, rather a star in the present. That’s a transition worthy of a Newsmaker!
