Stewart Friesen has been a winner ever since he stepped into a Dirt Sportsman race car for the first time as a teenager. He has risen through the ranks to excel in Dirt Modifieds, in Sprints, in Indoor Auto Racing Series TQ Midget competition, and as a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver.
This past week showcased Friesen’s versatility and talent to the max. First, he raced to the Super DIRT Series Wednesday night victory on the fast Selinsgrove Speedway half mile dirt oval. Then, just three nights later, Friesen won the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race on the lightning fast D-Shaped two-mile asphalt Michigan International Speedway, a win that ended a three year winless drought and also qualified Friesen for the post-season NASCAR Truck Series playoffs.
It’s a double few could possibly ever imagine.
For reigning supreme in two radically different Series, Stewart Friesen is a Newsmaker!
