Newsmaker of the Week // Kyle Bonsignore

When a Bonsignore wins a NASCAR Whelen Modified Touring Series race, the natural assumption is that Justin Bonsignore, a multi-time Series champion and winningest NWMT driver of all time, has taken down another one.

Not so at New Hampshire’s White Mountain Speedway this past Sunday when Kyle Bonsignore, Justin’s cousin, won the race, which was his first win in the Series in two years.

To get the “W” he had to hold off the relentless challenges of Stephen Kopcik right to the end. The win turned aside a season of miserable luck as he became the Series’ sixth different winner in as many races.

There may be more wins to come for Kyle Bonsignore who in victory has become a Newsmaker!
