Newsmaker of the Week // Eddie Strada

Eddie Strada raced to victory last Saturday night at Grandview Speedway in the storied Freedom 76er, earning $34,800 in prize money for himself and car owner Bobby Yeager. Strada has been racing at Grandview as a regular for the past three years and won his first career feature at the track just three weeks earlier.

In this race, Strada drove as methodically as possible, staying out of trouble and never backsliding. Late in the race, as other contenders made mistakes, Strada was there to capitalize and went on to score the biggest win of his career and for his car owner Yeager.

For driving an incident free race where others did not, for remaining steadfast in nearly three years as a non-winner, and then winning one of the biggest Dirt Modified races of them all, Eddie Strada is a Newsmaker!
