Newsmaker of the Week // Chase Dietz

Chase Dietz and the Stehman Motorsports team showed the entire Sprint Car world this past Saturday that the nine win 410 Sprint season in their maiden year was no fluke and they are instead a magical combination.

In the northeast outdroo season opener on Saturday, February 28th at the Lincoln Speedway, the driver from nearby York, PA impressively won the 30-lap feature event. Dietz quickly advanced into the runner-up spot from a sixth  starting spot shortly after the halfway point. He then ran down Danny Dietrich in slower traffic and rolled around the inside of him off turn four for the lead, a move that caught Dietrich completely off guard.
From there, Dietz drove away from Dietrich following a restart with ten laps to go for his second consecutive opening day win and the $6,000 check.
