Newsmaker of the Week // Louden Reimert

Fourth generation Stock Car racer Louden Reimert had the field covered Saturday night in Grandview Speedway’s Bruce Rogers Memorial Money Maker, the opening night of the venerable track’s 64th season. He started near the front, led early, lost the lead once but got it back, and in the end was standing tall in Victory Lane, his team $7,500 richer for his efforts.

Reimert won with a new motor installed in a seven year old chassis, a combination that proved formidable. He also served notice to the 57 other Modified teams at Grandview this night that he will be a force to be reckoned with just as he was last year at Big Diamond when he won his first Modified track title.
