The racing world was left in disbelief last Thursday upon learning that Kyle Busch, a two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion and the winner of more than 200 events in the sport’s top three series, died suddenly from severe pneumonia that progressed into sepsis.
While adored by the faithful “Rowdy Nation,” Busch had his fair share of haters throughout his two decade long career. However, he was unapologetically himself both on and off the racetrack, racing to 63 Cup Series victories, 102 O’Reilly Series wins and 69 Truck Series checkered flags. His final Truck win coming just six days before his untimely passing at Dover Motor Speedway.
Few have been able to carve out a career like Kyle Busch, who for one last time in his decorated career, is a Newsmaker!
