Newsmaker of the Week // Briggs Danner

As a full-timer with the USAC National Sprint Car Series, Briggs Danner only gets to drive a Wingless 410 Sprint Car in front of a local crowd once a year, during the series’ Eastern Storm. This year, Danner, a native of Allentown, PA, proudly flew the banner for the PA faithful, racing to victories at Bridgeport Motorsports Park and Action Track U.S.A. He might’ve even had three wins on the week had it not been for a slide job attempt gone wrong coming to the white flag in the opener at Grandview Speedway.

When all was said and done, Danner tied for the most wins on the week and finished fourth in the points. For defending home turf in a big way, Briggs Danner is a Newsmaker!
