Newsmaker of the Week // Otto Sitterly

Otto Sitterly is already a legend in Supermodified racing as his 11 track championships at Oswego Speedway can speak for themselves.

But in the 70th running of the Classic 200 last Sunday, the division’s most prestigious event, Sitterly joined another exclusive club. Despite slipping back to fourth after leading early, he mounted a comeback late, taking the lead with ten laps to go and driving away to the $20,000 victory.

The win was his sixth in the Classic, moving him into a tie with Bentley Warren, Nolan Swift and Greg Furlong for the most all-time.

For propelling himself onto a list with Hall of Famers, Otto Sitterly is a Newsmaker!
