There really was little question about who would win the 63rd Knoxville Nationals from the moment Kyle Larson won the Thursday night prelim, a win that slotted him to start from the pole in the big race. From there, he was unstoppable for 50 laps.
Others may had their moments in the spotlight during the week, but Larson was the man, winning the Nationals for the third time and second year in a row.
He’s being viewed more and more as a once-in-a-generation talent. He is a man who wins big, wins often, and a man who, every time he takes a green flag, is the guy to beat. And when he wins, as he did in the Knoxville Nationals, he’s a Newsmaker!
