ALLENTOWN, PA – The buzz surrounding the first annual Allentown Indoor Race, set for Saturday, January 2 at the PPL Center continues to grow by the day. Fans are purchasing tickets, competitors are filing entries and local companies are announcing their support of the event.
Two of those companies, Ironton Telephone and Future Homes have signed on as presenting sponsors of the inaugural event.
Ironton Telephone Company, is a reliable telecommunications staple that has served in the Lehigh Valley since 1909.
Future Homes Is a growing home builder in the Pocono and Lehigh Valley area, specializing in building homes to fit their customers needs whether it be a family, retirement or vacation get-a-way.
Tickets for the event are selling at a rapid pace and available exclusively through PPLCenter online, by phone at 610-347-TIXX, or in person at the Mealey’s Furniture Box Office located on 7th & Hamilton St. at PPL Center.
Competitor entries are at, or near capacity with over 100 competitors already announcing their intentions to compete. Anyone interested in competing should contact the Len Sammons Productions office immediately.
Racers in the TQ Midget division will be racing for some extra cash during the events six qualifying heat races, thanks All American Property Maintenance.
When the green flag drops, the powerful open-wheel Three Quarter (TQ) Midgets with drivers from throughout the Northeast and Canada competing will be the headline division. Slingshots, identically built cars that resemble Modified stock cars, will also compete in the one-day event.
The event is part of a three race indoor series that includes the wildly popular annual events in Atlantic City, NJ on January 29 & 30 at Boardwalk Hall and in Trenton, NJ on February 27 & 28 at the Sun National Bank Center.
